CAVENDISH SQUARE |
|||||||||||||
Serviced Office Space and Meeting Rooms in Oxford Circus The peace and tranquillity of leafy Cavendish Square is the location for this exquisite, professional, contemporary office space. Number 33 is a landmark building which boasts a magnificent double-height reception, underground parking and bike racks, shower facilities with towel service, separate delivery reception and secure 24 hour access. It's just a few minutes' walk away from the bustling Oxford Street and Regent Street shops. The design of 33 Cavendish Square consists of two slabs set perpendicular to each other above a three floor podium that was constructed on the site of some now-demolished grand old Georgian villas. Despite the TP Bennett design that features stone and vertical lines of black marble, the tower still manages in the eyes of many to look brutal rather than the classy Modernist affair it was originally intended to be. The scheme was developed by the Coal Board Pension Fund who had bought the entire city block and redeveloped it to provide them with income. They sold it in 2005 to a business consortium from Abu Dhabi for £425 million, £110 million more than the starting price.
